The makers behind our favorite truffles, Lindt, have created a rival chocolate hazelnut spread and we can’t wait to try it.
While the spread itself has been available in various European countries for a few years, it just landed in the U.K., which can only mean that it will be arriving across the pond soon. (We hope.)
But there’s one key difference between our go-to spread and Lindt’s version, and we’re not sure how we feel about it.
While Nutella contains approximately 13 percent hazelnuts, Lindt’s jar is made with 40 percent nuts. And we can’t help but wonder—does this mean that Lindt’s formula has less chocolate? The horror!?
Guess we won't know how the heavier nut content affects the flavor until we try. Feel free to send us some samples, guys.?
